Potential concerns include physical, emotional, sexual, financial, discriminatory or organisational abuse; domestic abuse; neglect; self-neglect; exploitation; modern slavery; coercion or unsafe living conditions.
For immediate danger, contact emergency services, inform the authorised site contact and Shinezone safeguarding lead. Otherwise listen without investigating, record facts and exact words, do not confront an alleged perpetrator, report promptly and preserve confidentiality.
